    Hilong International Business Corporation Convened Overseas Work Conference for the First Half of 2012

    The work conference of Hilong International Business Corporation for the first half of 2012 was convened in St Petersburg, Russia, yesterday. The Group’s Executive President Wang Tao, General Manager of Machinery Equipment Business Division Cao Yuhong, General Manager of International Business Corporation Liu Yizhuang and Executive President Liu Song as well as chief executives of Canada, US, Russia, and Middle East regions totaling more than a dozen persons attended this conference.

     

    The conference mainly discussed international product sales and overseas factory management. General Manager Liu Yizhuang presided over the conference.

     

    At the conference, Wang Tao, Executive President of the Group, introduced the operation of the Group’s business divisions in the first half of the year, along with the company’s future plan for global development. He pointed out that, today the international business had established well-developed overseas sales network and overseas production bases in comparison with infrequent businesses in the early days, Hilong products are now sold to world top-class oil and gas companies, Hilong brand has grown from an emerging brand to an established brand today on the international market.

     

     “Judging from the current situation, we estimate within two years the revenue from overseas markets will reach 60%, its profit percentage will account for 50% of the Group’s total profit, within five years the Group will become a truly large international corporation!” said President Wang.

     

    According to Liu Song, Executive President of the International Business Corporation, in the international sales of the first half of 2012, contract volume of drill pipe, heavy weight drill pipe and drill collar all showed sharp growth compared with the same period in the previous year; the sales of drill pipe in the first half of the year completed nearly 70% of the whole year planned sales volume of 2012.

     

    Luo Yi, Deputy General Manager of Hilong USA LLC, Wang Dong, General Manager of Hilong Canada, James, General Manager and Zhang Ye, Assistant to General Manager of Hilong Middle East, and Huang Xuesen, Chief Representative of Hilong Office in Russia, introduced market sales in their respective regions; General Manager Zhou Binggang of Russia Ekateringburg Coating Plant, General Manager Wang Dong of Canada Coating Plant, and Deputy General Manager Zheng Honggang of Middle East Plant respectively delivered project operation report on behalf of their respective regions.


    General Manager Cao Yuhong pointed out that, in market competition, in addition to price and quantity, Hilong high-end products were extremely competitive, and therefore they constituted direct profit-growth points, he recommended all regions to focus more attention on high-end products.
